Registered Manager – Children’s Residential Home
⏰ Hours: Full-Time (40 hours per week + on-call responsibilities)
Salary: Competitive (dependent on experience)

Silver Birch Care (Residential Services) is seeking a dedicated and passionate Registered Manager to lead one of our children’s homes. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing organisation where you can make a real difference while developing your leadership career.
About the Role
As a Registered Manager, you will be responsible for the overall leadership and management of the home, ensuring the highest standards of care, safeguarding, and compliance at all times.
You will create a safe, stable, and nurturing environment where young people can thrive, while leading and developing a high-performing staff team.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Full operational management of the home
- Ensuring compliance with Ofsted regulations and Quality Standards
- Leading, motivating, and developing your staff team
- Managing safeguarding, risk, and care planning processes
- Driving positive outcomes for young people
- Preparing for and leading Ofsted inspections
- Managing budgets and resources effectively
What We’re Looking For
- Significant experience in children’s residential care
- Proven leadership and management experience within an Ofsted-regulated home
- Strong knowledge of Children’s Homes Regulations, Quality Standards, and safeguarding
- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management (or equivalent)
- A confident, resilient, and child-focused leader
- Full UK driving licence (preferred)
